Gratitude.

In her short life, my mom instilled this virtue in myself, my siblings, and my Dad.  Neither I nor my siblings asked for our mom to be taken from us at such a young age. However, together we all learned to lean on and help one another to get through the difficult times and be grateful for what we have. I am so lucky to have my Dad, Caroline, Drew, Mary Kate, and Jack in my life. Together, we have learned that through great tragedy, an even greater love emerges. Sometimes you just have to get knocked down to know that you can get back up. I love you, Mom. Thank you for everything.
